From its early beginning, Futurion has always considered forecasting as a negative feedback process supported by modular software at each step of the process as depicted in the figure below.
At its first process implementation at Novartis US in 1986, then Ciba Geigy US, Futurion identified four key process areas to fully integrate marketing/sales, finance and operations, with a single one number forecast.

Subsequently, a Sales and Operations Planning component has been added to bring together all relevant demand and supply data under the same roof, bringing greater visibility, enhancing the better management of an organisation, and producing what-if master production plans.
